IQ LINK records a number of useful usage statistics to help administrators keep track of how their users use IQ LINK.
IQ LINK itself has the ability to track hourly “hits” of the entire system divided into kiosk and intranet users, and by module. Usage data is presented in easy-to-inspect charts to allow at-a-glance review of how the site is doing. You can view statistics for any date range to get a grasp of how the system is used over time.
Modules can have their own, module-specific statistics recorded too. Documents, for example, provides statistics for popular documents (by views, prints and scans), relative usage of each view (divided into intranet and kiosk users), the division of barcode scans on-site between valid, out of date, off-site and documents that were not found, and statistics for the most popular and most recent search phrases.
Through its use of statistics, IQ LINK can help provide positive feedback as to the system’s efficacy and areas it can be improved. If checked periodically, the statistics can help drive the customisation of your IQ LINK install around the specific behaviour of your workforce.
