IQ LINK uses integrated authentication (or “single sign-on”) so you’ll never have to type a password into IQ LINK. If you access the IQ LINK intranet interface using a machine logged on as an IQ LINK administrator, IQ LINK will automatically show you an “Admin” link at the top of every screen.
Clicking that link will present you with the IQ LINK Administration Portal. The Administration Portal is presented largely in black-and-white to distinguish itself from the user-facing side of the interface. Splashes of colour, differing according to the module you’re managing, are used throughout as wayfinding tools, and each module is highly separated to help focus users on the tasks they have to perform.
Navigation between sites and modules in IQ LINK is performed using the drop-down menus at the top of the page. You can navigate between sections of each module using the sidebar menu.
Since IQ LINK provides all this functionality in a single interface, access control is managed seamlessly. Users who are restricted from certain sections simply don’t see those sections in any navigation lists. You can manage access control broadly or as granularly as you prefer—it’s up to you.
At any time you can return to IQ LINK itself by clicking on the IQ LINK logo, or clicking “Return to IQ LINK”.
